Changing Seasonal Baked Goods
There’s Always Something New to Try
Produce that is used out of season will always leave you wanting something fresher. That’s why I try and use only the best seasonal produce to create best fresh and tasty baked favorites. Whenever possible, I exclusively use locally grown produce and products, that not only adds more flavor and appeal, it also supports our local Texas community.
What does that me for you? Sweet juicy Texas grown Fredericksburg peaches in May-August for pies or Strawberries from Poteet used in tarts. We always try to use the freshest ingredients, first of the harvest, vine ripened tomatoes bursting with flavor in the middle of summer along with fresh rosemary for focaccia bread and the freshest winter vegetables for that tempts your palate at every bite. Locally-grown herbs provide a pleasantly flavorful mouthful, while other locally-produced goods round out new and traditional favorites.
